Beat Hazard with or withouth his DLC, Beat Hazard Ultra, is a music game with casual gameplay, lookalike Asteroid, with the power to use any song you own to create a stage full of enemies you shall destroy, but the enemies will not be simple rocks...

Like a lot of music games, there are two options; you love it or you hate it. I you like the world of music, you will love this game because the base of the game is the listening to the music. You will be able to play your own songs
If you don't have any songs on your computer to play with, don't worry. The game includes aproximatelly 20 indie songs barelly good. And this is a plus.

Thanks to the hard work done with the animations and graphics, you will simply feel the rhythm while playing. If the volume of the music goes up, the effects will go up too.

Your shoots will be determinated by the music. The same will happen with the enemies spawn rate and bosses
Every song is unique. Every song will give you unique experience, because everyone has his own rythms and the game will handle them with a programmed and mathemathic form to create the stage. Because of that, you will be able to repeat every song to get the best highscore in the same stage.

There are more game modes! For example, there is the survival mode. In that mode, you must not die and survive as long as you can.
The DLC has a online, (1vs1 or coop) this is one of the most addicting features if you are competitive. Also, you can play with a friend if you have a xbox 360 gamepad.

The DLC will have additional modes too, like the Boss Rush, in this mode only will appear boses, one after another. Additional modes are a full challenge even for a expert, so fun will hardly end.

There is one more feature new in the DLC, the perks. (like micro missiles)
They are skills you will choose and will be able to get when you kill so many enemies and getting the dollards from them. Perks are very usefull to get achievements, high scores and to survive more time.
Graphics
Very clearly-defined graphics, colorful and optimized, but they aren't the best right now
Music
You put the music in the game, but the included music is well chosen to give you the full and fun experience of the gameLenght
It's a casual game, so the lenght of every game you sit down and go, can be short (because depens on the song), but you can play it indefinitely, we should bear in mind the addictiveness level the game has.
Fun
If you like music like me, sometimes you will go crazy fun mode
